We are medical doctors specializing in General Surgery (includes gallbladder surgery, various types of hernia repair, appendectomy, etc.). We also perform advanced colon/intestinal procedures breast surgeries as well as anti-reflux procedures. We have ultrasound in the office for image guided breast biopsies and also have many minor office procedure capabilities. Our practice emphasizes minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery. We also perform a large volume of both upper (EGD) and lower (colonoscopy) endoscopy. He completed his residency and internship in General Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburg PA, in 1997. Dr. Gordon became board certified in General Surgery in 1997 and received Fellowship with the American College of Surgeons in 1999. Dr. Gordon joined a private practice in 1997 and then opened General Surgical Associates, PC in 2003. He provides a wide variety of General Surgical services with an emphasis on Minimally Invasive Surgery and an interest in complicated anterior abdominal wall hernia repair. Dr. Casale became board certified in General Surgery in 1997 and received fellowship with the American College of Surgeons in 2004. He joined General Surgical Associates, PC in 2006. He provides a wide variety of General Surgical Services with an emphasis on Minimally Invasive Surgery and an interest in Laparoscopic Hernia Repair. Dr. Casale is the only physician in the area that performs Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repairs. He also performs colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
